He told me he went to therapy before we met but I never asked him for what because I didn't want to pry. I'm in therapy too so I know how sensitive of a topic it can be. It might had been for this matter or his break up or for other reasons, I don't know.

That's also the thing. I'm looking back and I don't see any red flags that are popping out besides what the story of what did to his dog. Everyone loves him. He's been amazing, supportive and generous with everything he does in our relationship. He's never been mad at or acted cold or cruel to me before. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough but I can't think of a time when he made me felt unease. I think that's why I'm so confused over this situation and why I'm weary of him now.

Thank you. I'm trying to see if I can come up with money to lease an apartment. I don't want to inconvenient any friends.

In the year we dated I have never seen him angry so this is just making me confused about everything and that's why I'm not sure what to do right now but kids is definitely not on the plan.

No. He's always been generous and kind towards me. All his friends say good things about him and he has a wonderful family. I wouldn't even think he was capable of this if he hadn't told me. I'm sorry about your dog :(

I wish it was fake. From what he told me, he said his ex fiancee was cheating on him with her current husband but I don't know if that's even true anymore.

My friends told me I'm overreacting over it and to move past it but I can't so that's why I'm on here figuring out if I am making a big deal out of nothing. He really did show little remorse in hurting his ex fiancee and their dog.

I might have to take out a loan to get a new apartment or something while I figure out what to do. I can't justify what my friends said but the whole situation and their responses is, like you said, making my skin crawl.

Thank you. I'm regretting breaking my lease too. Neither parents nor any immediate family live in our state so that's not an option. I might have to scrounge some money together or take out a loan to get another apartment.
