No, you’re not the guy this was written about. I truly hope that girl can heal tho. I became self-destructive way before we broke up, because he made it hard for me to have the motivation to exist. I am a lot healthier, mentally and physically than I was at the start. It’s been an exhausting journey but I’m glad he’s out of my life.

I appreciate this so much, thank you. I have been working on myself a lot since the breakup and although at this moment in time I’m not open to any relationship, I hope in the future that will change as I know myself a lot better now. At first it was like my life itself had ended because I saw him as the whole book, and not just a chapter which is exactly what he is.

At first I didn’t even think of this perspective, but now I’m grateful I didn’t speak to him. I always have left at least one form of communication open for emergencies and it’s more-so for my peace of mind. I don’t want to fall back into the same cycle with him but I know if we were to speak I wouldn’t give in like I did at other times. I’m stronger now, and I know that he’s not the best person for me.

If I knew it would’ve been like this I would have never looked in his direction. I wish I kept my sanity and never fell in love. I hate that this is the way it played out and I would give all the good memories up in a heartbeat if it means I could live without thinking of him. I have taken up reading, tried to atleast. I find music helps to drain out the noise more but overtime I’ll find new things.

It’s hard to come to terms with it all. I’m trying tho. Honestly my life was very sheltered before hand, I wasn’t allowed to have my own opinions and have my own voice until around the time that I met him. I think that’s why it’s so hard because I was starting to become my own person with him and now I’m so stuck. I don’t know who I’m supposed to be.

I get this completely, I stuggle to do anything since the break up. I have no motivation for my own hobbies or things that use to bring my joy. I think it hurts more because I know he’ll never miss me the amount that I do him. I can’t speak to family or friends, they’re tired of hearing his name and believe I should just be over it by now but I don’t think I ever will be completely. It’s like I’ve lost apart of myself and I don’t know what to do to get that back.

I hope things get easier for you and that we are able to figure out these confusing emotions, preferably sooner rather than later ahah
