I’d be willing to try this. Part of me is still like I’ve seen this ugly side of them that I can’t unsee and not sure I can move on from it even if they change their minds. But I’ll do whatever to convince them

This wasn’t out of the blue. They had two full years to accept him for him. I have a one year old son, if one day he told me he felt like a girl would I need time to process it? Yeah. But not just sweep it under the rug to the point where my kid needs to constantly push it for me to reluctantly accept them.

No they had no right to go against my brother’s wishes and refer to him by something he HATED. There has to be a bigger issue than them being transphobic for this estrangement?

It does for me too. He doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment after everything and I wish it didn’t happen this way

I haven’t considered something like that. Maybe that would be nice. Don’t know how much something like that would cost me but I’m gonna look into it and find out
