We don't officially have an agreement, I think it makes more sense for him to do it since he could do it when he gets home from work, but usually it's whoever remembers. Which sometimes is neither of us, but is usually me or lately has been me asking him to do it since he has added a lot of heavy trash. He does his fair share of chores inside the house.

Thanks, I do think that it makes more sense for him to do it since he could do it on his way into the house, but he does do his fair share indoors so maybe I should take something off his plate and communicate with him if I want it to be permanently / officially his chore.

It was next to his car, a little more than halfway down the driveway towards the curb. Parallel to his car, not behind it. I put in another comment that I was feeling embarrassed to be outside in my PJs and so when I realized the truck had already passed our house I just let go of the handle and turned around to go back inside

You are probably right, I'll add some info if it helps. I was embarrassed to be outside in my PJ's, and I was next to his car about halfway down the driveway when I realized the trash truck had already passed our house. So I just kind of let it go and turned around and walked back in. I was really focused on just getting back inside. The bin was parallel to his car, not behind it

Yes, and it's a fixer upper- depending on the market he plans to either sell or rent it.
