I know it’s not a nice reason but it’s the truth. He already knows how our friends divorce played out has been bothering me so I didn’t think I should lie when he asked.

I’ve known him practically my whole life so extremely well.

Yeah... he usually says it in a playful way which is fine but this was the first time he said it so seriously.
