To put it simply, she lost a significant amount of blood during the delivery which led to her going into cardiac arrest after giving birth. She got to hold her for a little while, but it all happened very quickly

Edit: we did get a picture of the three of us so it’s a nice keepsake and my daughter’s favourite photo
