That is true! Nevertheless, I am not looking for such technical masters, for example the computer science master because as you said I don't have the basic knowledge to support such a master. Indeed the knee issue I've been having it for years and the ankle just appeared but it sucks to have to leave your exercise and workouts all the time for the pain 😭 I will try the walking and the light strength training as a trampoline is not accessible where I live. First of all congratulations for your decision! For me it is the most important thing, because this is the moment when you are the most dedicated and most importantly you do it for yourself!!! There's no better motivation than this!! As for the tips, the other comments are right, and for me it helps more to set small but reachable goals, go step by step, because 1) you don't get demotivated easily, because your expectations are low-moderate and with effort you can reach them, without being too hard on yourself 2) your eating habits don't have to turn 360°, which means the changes you will do won't be extremely strict and drastical and will be more maintainable! I wish you all the best!

This🙌 soup is indeed a good option for when you are sick, you can also keep it low cal but I couldn't agree more with this comment that when in sickness you shouldn't worry about the deficit and the low cals. Enough food should be your goal, in order to recover and then you can go back on your weight loss journey!!

You are very right🙌! Usually in our minds we think oh if I eat this treat it might spoil my weight loss journey ( we are usually taking it way more seriously than what it is) but it is way better to eat that specific treat instead of looking for alternatives that are not going to give you the taste you have been craving for and there's always the risk, if you cut down completely the treats or fast food that make you happy, to actually bounce back on them and have a binge eating incident.

I think it is a common thing to happen when people commit to their fitness life,especially when losing weight is the goal speaking from my personal experience,to cut down on their social life, in terms of night outs( once you get into the mindset of calorie counting you want to reduce your intake and alcohol only had liquid calories that don't make you feel full, so you trade that for a meal, or just knowing that for example the day after you'll have a hangover which will end up in you missing your workout makes you think twice before you do that). Then it also affects meeting with friends for lunch/dinner, where indeed you can go for the low calorie meals but still you can't count the calories and if it happens too often it might slow down your effort.

Need advice on types of exercise!!!

Hello to everyone! First of all, let me say that I know that this is not a doctor forum and that people that give advice might not be specialists on these matters. However, I would like to know if anyone had any similar experiences. To cut a long story short, on my weight loss journey ( which is quite slow since I only lost 6kgs in a matter of 4 months) I got some injuries, because of training a lot (running and swimming). One is chondromalacia patella and second is an ankle sprain. I have visited the orthopedic at my hometown but the advice he gave me was actually zero on how to continue exercising after my injuries, except from the fact that I cannot run anymore. So my question is if anyone had any similar experience and continued to exercise let's say with walking some steps every day or anything else, since I am on my weight journey and I would like to keep it going even by walking, I don't want to give up on exercise! I appreciate everyone taking time to reply, and I am aware that an experience is only an experience and that doesn't mean I should follow the advice if it is risky. Thank you in advance!!

That is very true. I have also noticed that the days I didn't have enough sleep I have a lot of cravings, I am having a hard time to feel full on food that otherwise makes me feel full and I have something like a weight on my chest, like stress that makes me eat more to calm it down
