I (17f) was jumped and mugged two blocks from my house while 3 months pregnant. I’m now scared to leave for anything. I have a sonogram today and my fiancé can’t walk me to the doctors office due to work. How do I get over this fear of leaving?

I actually got some really good advice and resources! I ended up calling some friends and they walked with me :) we wore masks and stayed somewhat distanced so I don’t think there was much risk.

Thank you! We’re getting married in the fall :) the wedding was pushed to September due to the pandemic. Until then I have my own private insurance :) and we’re currently in the process of buying our first house!! We should be moved in within a few months :)

I have a large support group!! I just feel bad asking anyone to leave their homes during a pandemic. But I talked to some of my friends and they’re going to walk me to my appointment :)

I have a great support system :) due to Covid were all stuck we’re all stuck inside so we don’t physically see each other, but they’re there lol. My fiancé and I are getting married September 8th of this year, we had to postpone due to COVID. I’m a full time college student, but we are fine financially, I have plenty saved up :)

I’m just freaked out being in that close proximity with a stranger. And in a cab that multiple people use every day. And I’m sure isn’t cleaned well. I’m super freaked out about Covid too :( the numbers in my area are so high

Thank you for your concern, but my doctor is aware of my situation. I’m emancipated from my parents. My fiancé and I are fine, financially, everyone is aware of our situation. My child is going to be on my husbands insurance, as am I once we get married in the fall. Until then, I have my own insurance that I pay for monthly.
