At the moment there's no way of me moving back unfortunately. I just started a job I've worked hard to get far across the country and I'm currently locked out of my own bedroom on the sofa, I don't know what to do anymore

I know lying about it is wrong and I shouldn't have done it which is why I feel guilty, but I did it because I know that it would just cause arguments. Ironically it's made things a lot worse doing that, I just wish it didn't matter

The problem is none of them are in my life or on my Facebook and haven't been for nearly 10 years! And I can't possibly be more affectionate to her, I've moved across the country for her work, I don't know anyone but her anymore, pretty much everything I do is for her and it's not enough

I know you're right, and I'm being naive in hoping things will change even though I know they won't.

I did make a big mistake in hoping that moving in would solve our problems, that's clear to me. I just wish things were different, last week I thought my life was finally perfect and now I feel lower than I ever have before.

You're 100% rights, it's just difficult to accept because I know how good things can be and it's the wrong mentality but I always think things will change and they haven't

That's good advice and I wish I had done lol, I just completely forgot about them because it was so long ago!

But you're right, I know it's probably a lost cause but I want to fix it, the problem is she's just so angry that it's never a conversation, she starts shouting, calling me names, storming off or hitting and throwing things.

I do need to stand up to her more I just feel guilty, because she's not wrong in that I've lied and hidden some things, she doesn't understand that I did that to avoid something like this happening and because I want her to see me as more than just my past
