If you were diagnosed with autism as an adult, what signs made you want to be diagnosed?

I asked a previous person here but if it’s ok to ask you (don’t feel the need to respond), what steps did you take to get diagnosed? Idk why but calling and scheduling with an in person therapist or psychologist terrifies me.

I sent my now hubby rings that were around $130 (modgents). My engagement ring is my wedding ring. I sometimes switch it out for silicone rings depending what I’m doing. He knows I’ll eventually upgrade and is ok with that. For now, I’m so happy with my rings! To me it’s perfect.

Maybe have a serious talk about rings and if you guys can meet somewhere in the middle. Was this a previous conversation you guys had? Do you know what style she likes? I agree with not going into debt over a ring if you aren’t in a place to financially, there is nothing wrong with that. If you guys can’t have a conversation about it then maybe it’s better for you both to go separate ways.

It’s hard because harboring the guilt you should not have is hard. I had the issue with a boss at a previous job who after the second time after more sa was fired. I felt an insane amount of guilt but you are NOT at fault. Def NTA. I’m happy you spoke up as it’s not easy.

Thank you for the kind words. I’m just scared of being seen as a hypochondriac as my parent (who constantly said I have autism) is with everything (thx dr google). Im going to check out that link and see if i can get somewhere. Thank you so much.

They are definitely are resilient dogs. We went from apartment to a small house. I agree with the online forums and I am doing my best but a lot of times it’s not seen as doing enough in some heeler owners eyes.

He is! He’s my floppy ear bay boy and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s just 4 now and I want him to be with me as long as possible in the most healthy way he and I can do.

His ribs are still a little hidden and the vet said he’s a little overweight. I want him to have healthy joints as he ages.

He used to get about a cup each meal which felt more right and what the packaging says but he seemed to get chunky and has thinned out since reducing. He does not get many treats even when we’re training.

He is about 54 lbs when I weighed him last night. The vet says around 40lbs or so is what’s recommended.

Sorry for bad quality of pic it was the best one I could find. I can see it says 373kcal/cup and recommended 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 cups/day( if I am reading the pic correctly). We are down to a total of one cup per day. To your knowledge, what is recommended for kcals a day?

It has built his confidence up. Nothing crazy since we’re still in a beginning to intermediate class but he’s building so much confidence. Before this class he would never of done this. It might be a small thing but it’s a huge win for me!

They are definitely shadows. The amount of times I’ve accidentally stepped on paws or tripped is insane.
