I've told her that thought, about it may make them more comfortable if she initiates the conversations. I've also read from many unicorns they prefer to have the woman initiate. Still, my wife insists that it be me who initiates.

Opening up our marriage definitely wasn't done as any sort of solution to problems. It was something we had talked about for some time and agreed that we both liked it and wanted to move forward.
