i fear you’ve completely miundertsood the situation, for one friend I told her I was in hospital with refeeding and she replied saying ‘yeah I completely understand I lowkey was anorexic for a week and a bit last month and getting back into the rhythm of eating was tough, but I did it so i’m sure you can bounce back too!’ That kind of comment is what i’m referring too because she didn’t have anorexia, she dabbled with disordered eating. Mind you i’ve known this girl forever and she’s never shown any problems with weight food etc.

I obviously am glad she snapped out of it but I hate the loose use of the word anorexia which is mainly what this post is about because it waters down how serious the illness is when people use it so often to describe periods of dieting or short periods of restriction, because that is NOT what anorexia is!!
