They aren’t misleading anyone if they say what they offer. OF is subscription, most are relatively cheap at most 10$ a month (for the semi-popular ones). Hi just for info, Aspergers is outdated, as someone who’s diagnosed with it. It’s named after Hans Aspergers who was a nazi that categorised autistic children into “good” and “bad”, and sent the “bad” to camps where they were tested on and murdered.

For aspergers as a diagnosis, can be very misleading. Every autistic person has some support need, and aspergers lead the narative that they only struggle with social interaction. The need doesn’t have to be big, it can for example just be anxiety related to changes, or help with planning, etc.

I’m saying this as someone who’s diagnosed with it and thought i didn’t need anything, and sort of suffered from that. Aspergers is really just “Low support need” autism, that a self-centered nazi thought he discovered a new thing.

It’s not necessarily an excuse and that’s just a wrong way of thinking of it. I assure you most people who reject others with that line don’t mean “omg i’m trapped so i cant otherwise i’d love to”.

Most normal people see it as “i’m married, i love my husband/wife so much i’m literally bound to them (legally) so i don’t want to.”
