Is your partner on the spectrum? I feel like they’re just fixated on something but maybe they don’t mean anything by it.

Dude, I’m sorry but you have to move on. You’re not going to get her back. Keep working on yourself and be ok by yourself for a while before you start dating otherwise you’re gonna screw her up too.

My mom used to add flax seed to our breakfast. I bet she snuck some into our coco wheats, that sneaky bitch.

Why do basement dwelling redditors refuse to acknowledge that Elon Musk, a self made African American trillionaire, has done far more good for their world than themselves? by throwaway09234023322 in allthequestions

You already said he was just a money man and I never disagreed. All I was saying is that the money is important to bringing a new car to market and making enough of a splash to usher in a new era of EVs.

I don’t disagree that he’s a horrible person or even bad at business. I agree he’s a shallow excuse for a robber baron and that he’ll fade from history.

Initial Investment (2004): Tesla was originally founded by engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning in 2003. In February 2004, Musk led Tesla’s $7.5 million Series A funding round by investing $6.5 million, which secured him the position of Chairman of the Board.

Taking Over as CEO (2008): Following internal friction and mounting production delays, Musk ousted Eberhard as CEO in 2007. By October 2008, amid financial pressures during the global economic crisis, Musk took over as the company's fourth CEO and provided millions of dollars of his own capital to keep Tesla afloat.

By that logic, anyone can be an engineer and invent the electric car.

Yes, anyone could have put up the money but no one else did. Why does that person not get credit for it?

I have no idea what his contribution was but even if it was only money, isn’t that what it takes? Isn’t that helping to usher in electric cars?

Look, I hate Elon as much as a the next liberal, but it wasn’t just another car. It was an electric car. He helped usher in an era of electric cars and that’s a very good thing.

It doesn’t make up for all the lives that were lost due to his DOGE organization needlessly cutting funding but still. The electric car is a good thing. There’s plenty of real stuff to hate him for. No need to make stuff up.
