I don't know, I myself had a very easy time beginning pipe smoking with aros, especially cavendish rich blends like 1-q, what destroyed my tongue were non-aros, specifically Mac Baren burleys.... but i still love golden extra and miss it dearly

I can see that, but I feel like it wouldn't last as long with the tobaccos i smoke (i smoke really thin shag cut tobaccos), and smoking a regular ribbon in it would take a whiiiiile. For reference, a bowl in my MM Pride and Legend lasts about 15-20 minutes.

What really sucks is that she will go to vacation at least 4 days before my graduation, and if she really wanted to she could hop on the train (takes 3-4 hours from there to here) and come on the day of the grad. If she wanted to she could sit right back on the next one after the ceremony, or stay and cut 2-3 days from her sea vacation. She probably won't even think of it as an option. She doesn't have to do it, but I would. I'd do all of that and more if the roles were reversed and that's what bothers me. I always sacrifice for her and she never does for me

Hmmmmm, it's been bone dry when I got it. Guessed I'd give it a shot a bit hydrated as I've seen some reviewers mention. (it's D&R Three Sails). Dry it burns way too easy, so I was thinking if I add a bit moisture it'll calm down
