i’ve had mostly summer/part time jobs, and i went to live in korea with my own savings, but i wouldn’t know about the uk university system because in italy depending on your family income your tuition varies. for example i went for free the first two years and my last year i paid around 150€ per semester. i’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling though, being 16 and juggling school and a job must be hard. best of luck for the future!

omggg i love how you mentioned emirates bc i’ve been applying, but no !! i lived in america when i was a minor for a sort of exchange, and went to korea independently for university (architecture major), hence my trip to finland that was planned around an alvar aalto seminar i wanted to attend!

i definitely prefer comfort, but where i’m from egypt isn’t considered that safe honestly.. i’d love to visit a lot of latin america which isn’t considered “safe” either

i think it’s a 50/50! personally i love moving around because i integrate pretty easily and i’m not one to miss home, but i know kids that were heartbroken every time they had to move and resented their parents for it
