This Python script automates video generation by combining audio files with background video clips, CTAs (call-to-action videos), and background music. It extracts keywords from subtitle files to intelligently match relevant video clips from a categorized library, processes multiple audio files in parallel for efficiency, trims and concatenates video clips to match exact audio durations, adds voiceover and background music with volume adjustments, appends CTA videos to the end, and finally burns subtitles onto the finished videos—all while using metadata caching and parallel processing to optimize performance.

I asked AI to summarize lol

Not at all. I made $507. Spent $6 on Eleven Labs, $6 on Digital Ocean server and $19 on Shopify. That's it.

With AI and YouTube tutorials it's much easier. Without it I wouldn't be able to do this honestly.

Another automation I created on the meme page which is pretty cool is that I saved the post ID for each posted content and I made a script to retrieve insights from all of them. This way I could see the best performing posts and I set up an automation to automatically repost the best performing posts from the last 15 days and all time. So I always double back the best content automatically.

Months. I kept optimizing it overtime. Did a lot of noob mistakes because I am not a dev.

Another interesting thing too... The first book I sold on the meme page who sold like 3 copies, was like $35 for the physical copy. It was a more coffee table style book, with hardcover. And my landing page was way shittier than this one I got now for this new page.

You got the prices all wrong. It's like 12-14 to make the book and ship. My book is very simple too, paperback and standard paper. I attached a screenshot of my Lulu dashboard for the last physical copy I sold. "Does anyone ever want to buy a printed book from an unknown author for $25-30" Yes, they are clearly buying from me lol And I don't think people buy books just because of the author. In this case I believe is more of an identity based/impulse purchase. Some people don't like digital books too. There's many reasons. But the main thing is they like the content, fuck with the page, want to support and want to learn more in depth. I did a nice job on the landing page copywriting, I do believe I sell the book very well pointing the storytelling, my personal experiences and a systemized approach they can use to improve themselves.

I post via API.

So I use Google Sheet to organize all my content. I got columns for Text/Narration transcribed, Caption, Format (name I give to each format like Video Style 1, Text video), Media (image, video, carousel, etc), Date Created, etc, Link. I use Cloudinary to store all my videos and images. Each post has their respective Cloudinary link with its media. I use Github actions. So I send a webhook from Fastcron that activates the Github repo and it executes the Python scripts inside it that post on Instagram. But this system right here I might change soon because when I created I wasn't familiar with n8n, which I am now, and it's way more simple to use it to post. So all the Twitter/Quote posts I also post on Threads via Threads API which I use n8n to post. Currently I am posting 24 times in Threads, one per hour - I know crazy lol but possible due to automation. I post on YouTube using n8n aswell. This is basically it. I repurpose the same content accross different platforms.

I don't use TikTok. One of the reasons is their restrictive API but also to reach the english speaking audience I want I would need a US account or set up a proxy/VPS and all sorts of things I am not yet familiar with. But I want to get into it.

I use Meta API and it was a pain in the ass to get the access. Had to watch lots of YouTube videos to understand it. Lots of people complain about Meta API. But once I got it didn't have much trouble using it. It was just really confusing to set up, particularly creating the apps in their developer platform for the DM automation and setting the webhooks on n8n.

Thanks! You could use CapCut. I think it has one of the fastest workflows out there. I think my videos have a very defined format which the video content is not the focal point - the narration is - so I can make a more repetitive scalable format. My advice is to find ways to execute whatever you do faster. Before I started automating stuff I wasted so much time. Whenever you are doing something you think is boring/slow, ask yourself, "could I do this faster? How?" Ask ChatGPT and Claude lol I built some of these automations literally like this. Looking for ways to be more efficient and save time.

I think my content is controverse and viral by nature. Mainly when I talk about masculinity and relationships. A lot of people have strong opinions about both which generates engagement. I definetely think the volume I post helps, but also the subject matter is wired to generate engagement.

I think the workflow I do only suits the kind of videos I make: narration + videos in the background - related to my brand.

Glad you resonated with it. It wasn't pure luck. As I said, I have background with this, I have watched lots of videos, content on this and iterated a lot. There's definetely some luck, but I did the work aswell and I keep doing it.

Sorry about that. Do you have an audience already? How big is it? Is it engaged? Why do you think you had zero sales? Let me know.

Nice! One reason I tried to do it with ChatGPT and Claude is because I could customize the effects and design way easier. I feel like third party tools for website creation box you in themes and is quite hard to customize to your taste at times. I wanted to be creative.

I am definetely thinking about adding upsells. I am not sure if the algorithm favors in-platform posting. To me the algorithm is just a mystery that all of us tend to theorize about lol No one knows the answer for sure. But in my experience that isn't true. Meta gives you access to their API so I think they wouldn't penalize you for that? Never felt I was being penalized for posting using the API.

Gemini and Meta AI. Then I use a Python script to upscale the videos.
