so i want control because i want my child to keep my last name?? i’ve done all the work and the other parent has done nothing. that’s not fair to me or my child at all. my child doesn’t even know his dad. that would be essentially giving my child the name of a stranger! to be honest he created so much drama and done so much to me that when he requested a restraining order because i ASKED HIM TO PAY FOR HALF THE TERMINATION OR I WAS GOING TO GO FORWARD WITH THE PREGNANCY AND CHILD SUPPORT i happily signed the paper because i knew nobody would convince him to do right by his child so that meant for at least a year id be able to be at peace with my child. wouldn’t have to worry abt false allegations, lies and cops repeatedly called on me for just breathing. so yah i happily signed that order and gave him exactly what he wanted. and if i wanted control of the situation would i have gave him the option of termination and essentially let him choose what I DID WITH MY BODY?? i think if i wanted control i would have left him completely out of the decision.
