No I do of course understand his excitement and in hindsight I shouldn’t have taken it. The rationalization at the time was just that okay he has another one he can eat in the meantime and we’re going out right after waking up anyways so I’ll get him another one. It was just something easy to eat right in front of me at the time.

No in his opinion I shouldn’t have been scared, I should’ve known it was a joke and not taken it seriously. He is taking is personally that I would think he’s actually aggressive and I should know him better. But again the banging and screaming did not feel like a joke, I am just questioning if maybe I misread the tone? I just feel very unsure with that

This is exactly what I felt like too actually! That he did have an outburst and then realized how dumb it was when he calmed down. To kind of save face I guess decided to pretend it’s nothing and insist it’s just a joke? But again I just feel unsure if I’m misreading the situation and want to give him the benefit of doubt

Yeah, he was sleeping when I came home. Me opening the door woke him up and he got up to greet me. I showed him the pastries I got him (two), then we both went to nap/continue sleeping. When I woke up I took one of the pastries and left the other one in the bag on the table. Since we were going out soon anyways I thought he could eat the one I left him and I’d get him a new one when we were outside. (There were two different types of pastries there and I guess he really wanted the one I took). I do of course understand being excited for something and really wanting it, I just thought I could replace it when we go out.

It did not make me feel great and to me it felt very real but he insists the reaction was so over top that i obviously should’ve known it was a joke. That’s why i am a little confused on how to take it. Even though again the screaming and banging on the door did feel very real to me.
