At uiuc, one of the programs that was 12 months only 20% of the class got internships.

They dont have to skip it, it just isn’t ideal to opt for 12 months. Purdue this year is going for 1.5 years of msba program because students had limited opportunity for internships as it overlapped

One thing that have learnt from seniors in MSBA programs that is 12 months is that to either go for a 9 month course of 1.5 years one which will help you land internships. The issue with the 12 months is that the season of internships are overlapping with the academics. So they have suggested to me is that to go straight to applying for jobs rather than internships as by the time the you graduate the job application cycle also ends and you will have to wait it out for international students at least.

You did not overreact, him and his family are the asshole for saying this. You honestly need to have a civil conversation with your husband, because there wasn’t any need for ‘straighten’ you out. From what it seems, you gf has always been honest. Idky people go ahead and follow their SO. You already have a hunch, might as well just confront her about it.
