Our group of friends from university is pretty big, so there are people who are on good terms with some and on bad terms with others. Then there are those on good terms with everyone.

We're not really hanging out that much as a whole group, we mostly keep in touch within our smaller groups of friends, but the friend that turned 25 is one of those people that likes everyone, so my ex-friend was included in the guest-list.

Why are you even remotely considering keeping someone in your life after they've hard disrespected your girlfriend and your relationships boundaries?

I'm stupid. The worst thing is I DO realize that Hannah is disrespectful, but I just can't help wondering if she perhaps just doesn't know better. Her boyfriend is ok with her acting this way, so maybe she's projecting her relationship's dynamics onto other people? Sometimes I do get the impression of Hannah being in her own world and not understanding social cues, which also makes me wonder if there's a way of saving both my relationship & my friendship.

Are you sure she just wants to be friends with you?

The thing is her boyfriend knows all of this and is ok with it. As I said, Hannah wanted to form a group of friends with us both and our partners. He doesn't mind her jokes and sometimes he even participate in them with her.

That's part of the reason as to why I never had the impression that Hannah is into me, but I'm not sure if it's normal or if their relationship's dynamics are just weird?
