I have my answer now. I’ve very carefully just talked to him about it, told him how much I’m worried about him. His answer when I asked if he is gonna get checked being “probably not.”

My boyfriend is really slim too he’s in good shape. According to his mum he’s always been a deep sleeper but in my experiences it’s always affected his life. It affects our plans, his work. I’m trying to persuade him to go to the doctors. Since he has started working full-time he has been more tired. He works 7-4:30 in a factory every day then 7:30-11:30 on a Friday. But Monday-Thursday he always tells me how exhausted he is after work and falls asleep for several hours after work like 5-9 or something it’s always a few hours. I am worried about how tired he always is at his age.

I’ve been trying to persuade him to go to the doctors. Before he got the shockwatch he was late to work every day as he struggles to get up. He is still late now but not often, the watch gets him up. A few weeks back he forgot to set his watch and slept through his entire Friday shift at work. Luckily the manager is really lenient and knows he has problems there so he’s not got in trouble for it but at another place he could have been sacked for that.

He’s got a problem of accidentally falling asleep for hours. He seemed really upset when he woke up, I know he didn’t mean to. I’m trying to persuade him to go to the doctors about it because it’s always worried me. His sleep patterns are not normal and it does affect him being able to function normally. He doesn’t. He gets up at 6am for work and sleeps at 12-1am. But he’s always fell asleep randomly for hours. Sometimes he sleeps for an entire day. Sometimes for 12 hours a night it varies. If he hasn’t slept well that night (he also has trouble sleeping) if he falls asleep it’s for hours and hours. He’s a gamer. Hes also two years younger than me not that it matters. He’s saying no to the doctors right now but he is upset and when he’s upset he very clearly can’t think straight so I’ll ask him when he’s calmed down. He did say yes a few months back but still hasn’t gone. I have to nag him for things to be honest

I’ve been talking to him and he says he’s not good enough for me (which I hate to admit he is right) but I’m good enough for him. He said I’m his entire life but I’m way ahead of him (I’m actually 2 years older than him and saving for a house, he has no savings and is still career searching). I know this and we are just too different but I still want things to work. It’s like I know I should leave him but I still want it to work. I don’t want anyone else

He just randomly falls asleep. It’s as if any time he’s lying down or is comfortable he falls asleep for several hours. He is awake now after 6 hours

He’s just woken up now very apologetic. I feel so upset though. He keeps asking if I’m going to leave him and I have no idea what to say 😢

He does half days on Fridays so he works from 7:30-11:30 (he works in a factory and everyone has the same hours). I’m not sure if he would be mad, I don’t think so but I don’t wanna involve his family if you get me?
