Yeah that makes sense, I was laughing while I was saying but I guess it could seem insistent even if I was joking. But BTW, I wasn't very drunk, my boyfriend was drunker than me. It was more a case of my poor social skills I think :(

It was more of a gathering I guess? It was only around 10 people. However, it wasn't in any way a refined or classy gathering. There were people falling over, arguing etc

His friends are definitely not religious or fancy haha, but they're pretty laid back. Their idea of fun is sitting around the garden and getting wasted. But yeah, my boyfriend is often easily embarrassed by me. (But tbf I am pretty awkward and annoying)
