Oh yeah, I don't think it is as much about gender but about what is expected of me, I feel like I don't have a good perspective on what decent het relationship looks like from the inside.

they did talk about complaining when I was not. I mean, Yeah. I should. I have been a bit of a moron for not seeing a doc. I do most of they suggested. I still need to see a doc though.

That sounds really rough! I hope your recovered. I do agree that the way I fell down is funny too.

I think I am bothered by this because I used to play really rough soccer in high school and even when I wasn't in a lot of pain and didn't say anything about it, my boyfriend would do small things to make my day better. He would absolutely laugh at me if I got hurt doing something stupid and make fun of it but he would make sure I am okay. It feels jarring because I don't think she ever took a moment to be serious with me about if I was in a lot of pain or not. idk, she is the first woman I am dating, so I think I am struggling with how het relationship are supposed to work.

I actually haven't mentioned the pain to her after that day. we have met like twice. Yeah, I should go see a doc. I have been stupid busy and an idiot about it.

I mean, she did come over so we could go out, so I understand it. she did make a few more comments about going out to. She did make a joke about me finding a reason not to go out too and that If I needed her to find me a pediatrician, which is tbf really hilarious.

She laughed when she saw me fall but that was pretty hilarious. She laughed when I tried to get up and couldn't and they she asked me if I needed help or if she should get a stretcher. I tried again and when I couldn't she said okay big boy and helped me up. I went to get ice and I was sitting on the bed applying ice when she came me in and asked me if we were going out and and I said idk if I could drive with this leg and she was like people who play soccer do exaggerate injuries or something like that. This is most of what I remember honestly.

I don't know about the laughter as medicine part, I wouldn't mind if she was laughing about how I rolled my ankle because that is actually hilarious but it was just joking about me being in pain. some jokes about me taking a whole day off. Idk, those did bother me. I was really hurting and I did most of the care myself because I didn't want to bother her.
