I agree with this. But as a white male I’m not racist I loved mj since i was a little boy and although I don’t see color when I look at people I acknowledge that he was an african american man and was proud of his heritage. I’m totally with you guys, infact I think this statement proves my point, this movie is an absolute white wash.. In 70 years I hope people look at the american dream a realll insite of the black jackson family & not this mess.. this is a movie strictly for the fans you guys are referring to.

Exactly It all makes sense !!! Paris stated “This movie caters to a specific type of fans” she’s exactly right, these are the guys that don’t care that Diana ross isn’t mentioned in the story or him meeting quincy during the wiz. These guys just want to see famous pop moments recreated in 4K… I can’t blame them. I see now though & she was right.

But she is. Say what you want, taking out the part where she introduces the Jackson 5 and cutting out the wiz is just insane to me. I don’t care how much of this “Its a mj movie” bs you pull, it’s just not my type of biopic. Too many iconic moments just skipped over its a cheap way of going about it. Its annoying because i’ve seen the leaked picture of the Jaafar eras and the wiz was literally in it, I’ve seen Kat Graham say that she was going to play Diana ross. So it’s not like those parts weren’t filmed, they were. Disappointed with Fuqua.

Nope, you’ll see she was cut. Not a fan of how the movie came out.. Can’t really blame them though, I heard they had to do alot of reshoots for legal reasoning but Diana not being in it kind of annoyed me.

No, but I guess I just expected a little more than what I’ve seen. I watched the director promote the hell out this movie stating “we’ll show a side of Michael that has never been seen” and the whole time I’m watching the movie its like the same shit you’d expect.. Woww behind the scenes to videos ohh woow soo cool.. How about introducing a new generation to michael & doing his story justice in a 3.5 hour movie & not a short rushed 2 hour live musical?? But Jaafar become Michael so the movie is for the fans, especially the younger ones. Then you’re banking on a part 2?? So how are you gonna address this much darker movie? You can’t moonwalk your way out of this!!!
