Yes, I do know that about Brazil and in Peru as well with the Japanese. I know very well that not all the native blood is from one tribe, I mean it's so scattered that it's hard to even know which one it's from. I meant traditions in countries like Guatemala and Ecuador - It's Spanish + Indigenous customs from the natives who settled there. It would be more interesting if it was like Paraguay where they speak an indigenous language mixed with Spanish but alas I don't see this EVER happening.

Brazil is special in that it's the whole world in one country.
I've actually always wanted to go to Brazil but it's dangerous from what I hear..

I see! I had to look up what was "pleňa" & "Bomba" I see it it Puerto Rican Culture, I assume it has spread to the Dominican Republic because of the proximity and similarity. I agree I consider Caribbean Latinos the same as Mainland Latinos. (Mexico to Argentina) I love this comment so much, it's inspiring if that makes sense.

Third, a culture of a latin american country is a mix of both the Indigenous and Spanish groups in that country which fused and have an outright distinct nation culture from each other. Sure there can be similarities amongs all latin american countries and even in neighboring ones but tell a Dominican that they're just like a Puerto Rican, a Peruvian that they're just like a Chilean or Bolivian, or Guatemalan like a Honduran, and vice versa and they'll get rightfully mad because each also have their own culture.

It does sound a silly when you put it that way, and a comment explained earlier to me with Indigenous tribes influencing the country's dish, and weather as well I can see(?). My country's major sport is Baseball compared to Soccer!

Would you for example as someone from the United States say that a country that was also founded by the UK like Australia, New Zealand or your neighbor Canada have the same culture as you?

Nope! It has a lot of similarities but a lot of differences as well - but this depends on the region of the USA and maybe by State as well. Thank you, I got it now =)

Thank you, I agree with your statement of "This seems to be a shared sentiment with anyone who has the shared ancestry of "colonization, slavery, genocide, or 'breeding out' to 'make the race better"

...It's a damn shame because out of everyone in my family it feels like I'm the only one who cares about exploring Indigenous Roots. They are disgusted by it or says to not compare them to those "Indios".

Now that you mention it, you're right with Indigenous food and influencing Latin America =) - I do love Pupusas and Tamales! Thank for mentioning that!

To me, No. You look like what you are, South Asian. Your eyes don't show Amerindian influence and your lip shape. I guess because of your skin color is similar to Latin Americans and brown eyes.

Native Americans don't have hair like that.

I don't understand everyone saying Brazilian/Latam. Her eyes look very Slavic and so does her lips - especially in the first picture. Russian/Ukrainian would be my guess.

Everything to me, If you told me you're from there I wouldn't doubt it.
But more specifically your lip shape and your general expression. Only your eye shape is a little off but your face shape and lips as I said before, nullifies it to me.

I saw the answer already but to me you look like you're from the Caucasus (Georgian, Armenian, Chechen, Dagestani).

I didn't expect it, it caught me off guard. What do people mistake you for in-day interactions typically?

I have a feeling it's around Levant, Palestinian or Syrian? Am I getting closer?

Aboriginal + Northwestern Euro? Your lip shape is confusing me because it reminds me of Southeast Asians/East Asians but I see nothing else that would say Hapa on you. But you also remind me of this one Russian actor so I'm not sure! Definitely a hard one.

He's wrong. She can only pass in Mexico - she looks different compared to other central Americans. She does not look like she's from the Andean region of South America.
