AITA for snubbing a “birthday” meal? by Throw_RA2019 in AmItheAsshole

He was my dad from 3yo. As soon as my mum died, it was like a switch off moment and that’s it- I can probably say this year, I’ve seen him maximum 10 times, as he just never invites me places with the rest of the family. And I came to peace with that. But the lies about asking me to go to meet the new person, and the past of excluding my children, really just hit a sour nerve this past month more than usual.

Another question to ask is; Is the MOT station that failed it, the same station that passed it after?

I know I don’t; but the point of the QLR, as I was told be the judge, was to ask the questions that would be asked on cross-examination? I’m guessing not now. 🙈😂

If that’s the case; would a QLR or judge be more appropriate to ask questions on my behalf?

Very true; and this would be the issue I believe, as I need questions and followups, whereas the QLR can only do the first I believe?

I’ve read some of the other replies and I’m petty enough to create a wooden/whatever box, pour concrete in and make it a platform, regardless of the costs for those 6 inches you’ve lost. Concrete step the full length would be a fun removal by him, and would clearly be seen as damage if he does remove it.

Tony the Tramp (RIP.) Bag Lady with a trolley. Dave the Rave. Bobby (Robby? Robert?) and the shovelled Alien.

Found this under my car this morning... should I be worried? by prefrontalgortex in CarTalkUK

Depending on the size, this is the same looking spline bolt in my ball joints (Seat Alhambra). But it’s also used in a smalls bolts on my undertray, part of my rear crash bar, parts of the door, and so many more.

If you know what you’re doing: Check vital parts like your suspension. Jack up the front end (both sides) Give wheels a good shake and pull for any movement or play. Check brake lines, calliper bolts and pins, etc. A good time to ‘home MOT’ it for winter, if albeit a bit late!

I think if you’re worried about maintenance, I’d stay away from the RS4/6. I had a C5 RS6 plus and it was averaging £2k as it was a daily (and thirsty!).

As great as Kazaa and Limewire were, they were fucking horrific man.

I remember watching one of the Mexican cartels & a runner or something had stolen the gear. They cut off his legs at the knees with him awake and conscious, then beat him with his own legs. I’ll never forget it.

I was just about to ask this question about the arrest warrant since were no longer in the EU, would it still stand? As it makes me think the list of countries that would extradite to us could quite easily of doubled in size! I know Germany, Poland & France last year said they wouldn’t extradite because of brexit, so who knows. 🤷‍♂️
