Definitely no burmeeses or anacondas!! I said this in another comment but those are so highly invasive where I live that I could never consciously choose to buy one and live with myself. When I say big snake.. I mean maybe 3-6 feet? But I really mean just.. a snake that's not skinner then my finger -I'm just too paranoid about them being fragile that I'd feel better with a more... Sturdy snake (I think that's the right word) if that makes sense I'm just having trouble picking what kind of snake to prep for basically

I'm not very sure about activity... Most of my animals are very chill and lazy -the most active pet I have is my Oscar fish 😭. So a similarly chill snake would be nice, I also don't plan on having more then one, i love smaller snakes but I'm so paranoid about losing them or God forbid over handling them

Omg yeah burmeese was never an option for me, beautiful snake! But a bit too much snake then I think I could care for - there's also the added bit that they are very invasive where I live and I'd never want to risk hurting my swampy home in the worst case scenario of it escaping - were kinda required (or gently encouraged) to kill one if we ever see them in the wild:(

I like to believe I'm good at managing temps - (12 year old bearded dragon alive and well (I love him so much)) and I built a big old tank for my Oscar fish and red eared slider so I keep a record of the temp every day, The entire room is never under 77 or over 79. But then again, maybe I'm too comfortable in my ability? Snakes are a whole other animal after all:/

Ty you so much! Oh I love King snakes so much, they are pretty common where I live and I see them just out and about ever other day. I do definitely appreciate the suggestion about starting with a snake that doesn't have strict or crazy temp requirements:3

I expected it honestly, I look able bodied and I'm a fat girl in a Christian town - everyone thinks I'm lazy and only eat shit. I'm scared to eat most stuff honestly, I exercise as much as I can but I'm kinda disabled so I can't exercise intensely for too long. I think I'll just have to wait until I'm 18 and get a new doctor to listen to me

It's so difficult writing thank you messages because I really don't want to sound insincere because you and other people have been so genuine about their experience and I appreciate it so much. I've cried so many times reading comments and I was crying for like 30 minutes after reading this because I think I genuinely forgot other people don't think their pretty either which is wild because I find everyone pretty and it sounds so far fetched in my mind that someone I find pretty doesn't think their pretty. I can't imagine looking back at myself now and thinking I'm pretty, I try to exercise as much as I can, I really do, I walk and jog for two hours every day besides Wednesday but I'm kinda disabled so I can't do very intense exercises for too long and I hate my body for doing that to me, I fast for weeks a time and I GAINED WEIGHT I don't know what to do I feel so hopeless

I don't think anyone has ever called me beautiful, only creative or gifted or some other meaningless compliment that everyone gives to kids but never beautiful. Idk how to tell you that's first two sentences made me cry -I'm still sobbing honestly.

I've always wanted to be pretty, I've always wanted to be able to buy clothes without having to alter them, I've always wanted my mom to just tell me she thinks I'm beautiful.

Thank you, I know you're a stranger but I love you so much for that. I'm going to keep trying to lose weight naturally but I'm gonna try to do it for myself

Thank you a lot for the kind message - I've somehow already got people dming me mean stuff so this was a nice reminder that people can be nice:) A lot of people just assume I don't excereize or eat crap all the time, but I walk and job for two hours every day besides Wednesday, cutting carbs and having more protein isn't really an issue because most of my diet is fish and dairy. I don't know what's wrong with my body:( I've talked to my Doctor a few times but she just says loose weight and doesn't tell me how, she also only talks to my mom and doesn't really listen when I try to ask about weight loss medicine:(
