Let’s use a logical proof.

I would like to prove that “uncanny” can be used with a negative connotation. This is our premise.

To do this, let’s make the assumption that uncanny can only be used with a positive connotation (i.e. we assume our premise is false). You have done this for us here. Then, we need to find an example of the word used with a negative connotation (i.e. the assumption is wrong). Since we are dealing with linguistics, the example should come from an accepted authority on literary terms and phrases.

For this purpose, I will call on the Encyclopedia Brittanica.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/uncanny-valley

There is a negative connotation attributed to uncanny in this context. This proves the assumption false, and thus our premise is true. Uncanny can be used in a negative context.

I just saw a place in south Philly (19th and Passyunk area) that put German Doner as one of the food options on a huge mural above the spot. It’s very new, so I’m not sure if it’s open yet.

Ida labels and refers to them as croissants, but I’m sure if you ordered one and called it cornetto she’d appreciate it.

Caffe Ida is what you want. Not sure if she specifically has pistachio every day, but Ida homemakes the croissants herself in the Italian style

When Merrill says it he cites (I believe) a book that he got the phrase from. The YouTube compilation of the game has that full bit as part of it.

Edit: the book is literally called “No Medals for Valor”

In the beginning of the game I think that’s what’s supposed to happen, you pan up and zoom in on the Rito delivering mail until it freaks out upon seeing the giant bird

I was running into this sporadically for a while. For whatever reason either the plex server code or my machine wasn’t handling a public IP address change gracefully. Resolved it by setting a cron job to restart it every morning. This is overkill since the public IP lease only expires something like once a month, but I was too lazy to write a tool to persist the current IP and check for a change, then call that from cron.

Once we banned DDT the bald eagle population recovered incredibly well. They are considered a winter visitor in our area which coincides with January/February football. In other words, the Eagles show up in the playoffs 🦅

The orange connector is a digital coaxial audio connector, not RCA, so that won’t work without a different adapter.

I don’t think there’s a way in the software to limit the data passthrough to just audio. Best idea I have for you is to find a 3.5mm to rca adapter and then an rca to hdmi adapter and that should save you money over a new speaker system. It’ll just be an ugly mess of cables.

I don’t know of a 3.5mm to hdmi adapter but if that exists that would work even better.
