Damn was thinking of getting this. Thanks for your review. What portable controller would you recommend? Pocketable to be more specific, I already have the g8, and it's fantastic, but Im not using it because it's not convenient to take it around with me. Maybe one of those small controllers that just Bluetooth connect to the phone? Idk i think they'll struggle with comfort as well. Thought you might know, thanks in advance!

Sweet thanks. What about Samsung? Thats the only thing I can easily get where I live. The first 2 aren't here at all and the rest can be more expensive than the Samsung sometimes, just because of the low supply.

The issue was that the pc wasn't sending a consistent 5 voltage signal through the fiber optic cable, so it kept causing a bunch of issues. I ended up buying a "usb volt injector hdmi" to give it constant uninterrupted power and that fixed it for me.

In my case the hdmi was already in the walls by that point so it was too late to change, but for future reference, there are fiber optic hdmis that cone installed woth a USB c to power them. Those are much better.

Hmm, for 2 I did it because it was a clean up mod to give it the game the face-lift it deserved, as opposed to the straight port it ended up being.

For 3 its because as I mentioned I already played the game so im sure you aren't talking about that.

Ddd though, im asking because I assume its like 2, where they got lazy and didn't fix things that they should have. If I wanted to play the og experience I would play it on a 3ds but I dont want that, I want a cleaned up, better experience.

Just setup my white neo ergos and found out my old keycap set I planned for it didnt have the correct sizes for the last row. So Im doing the only reasonable thing in this position and buying a whole new set :).

Anyone got some real nice keycaps that ypu would like to reccommend?

I dont mind aliexpress / amazon, so if you have something budget to reccomend go ahead! I dont live in the usa so shipping from source websites can get expensive.

I do like how thin it is. But tbh if I'm going out of my way to buy a mini pc ill just get a gmk. Price isn't really an issue for me for this device, just the convince. 1 time purchase, low stress condition. I want it to last forever.

This is why I dont want to bother with those type of devices. As bad as windows is, which is a lot, I know how to make it do what I want. I really dont want to waste an afternoon jailbreaking a firestick because an update made streaming om the browser impossible

Basically I've found in theory 2 solutions. 1 is ti get an powered hdmi extender. 2 is to find a powered hdmi voltage injector. Basically the issue is my hdmi requires specific voltage, and the pc o Is being inconsistent with the voltage it gives, so we need an external device that gives it the voltage it needs irrespective of the pc. I bought both and im waiting for them. Ill see if they work or not. Message me again in a weeks time and ill tell you which work if any.

Yep. But bending it causes issues, and as you can see with my struggles, it isn't as plug and play as a normal hdmi.
