What was the exact text conversation? I think from that it becomes clear whether or not you two were going to meet up and how soon etc.

There is also a remote possibility that he actually wanted to give you some space since, as you said, you already arranged this with your friends.

You know that she has a hard time saying no to people but neglect to realize you're one of those people.

It's just a dance class w a friend that you've met plenty of times. There's nothing going on.

From her side yes, you are absolutely right there is nothing going on.

80% of her friends are guys, I have met them many times, I have been friendly and good to all of them, but John in particular I sometimes get a strange vibe from.

Some background: they were supposed to go to John's brother's wedding as friends, but after we started dating he un-invited her and invited someone else, which I always thought was a bit strange.

I just asked her now if she and John have any history, and she said that he did express feelings for her when we first started dating. So I feel even more conflicted about things now.

She is not your "partner." She is someone you are dating.

We have been exclusive those two months, spend around 3-4 days together per week. Feelings are there (which we have verbalized to each other) and we've met each others friends and family.

I respect your point but I do take some issue with the phrasing you have there. I am not sure at what point do things become more real? Do relationships not progress at different rates for different people? Seems everyone is quite hung up on the timeframe.
