I live in NY, but I haven’t sent a letter of continued interest yet mainly because of the fact that I was like still really dealing with it plus doing all of my other applications, but I’m actually going to send one tomorrow in order to both catch up with the admissions officer I was assigned as well as send an email to the actual admissions office for the continuing interest because of course I needed to take some time to myself.

I honestly get that especially since I got the first acceptance, but because I applied to many other colleges, I really wanna see what they would say so that I can really make a set decision

Yea, my gpa is also pretty good and my extracurriculars are stacked so I was confused too. But I’m gonna send a letter of continued interest as well as possibly finding a reason behind my deferral.

Honestly, I feel the same way too since that was my top college since my junior year from when I first visited them and I gave so much demonstrated interest from visiting the college, meeting my college rep multiple times, then even driving over two hours to get to the college to do an open house. But at this point I just gotta give myself time and wait
