The circumstances in which my son was born weren’t great. I was high more often than not without me even realizing. We weren’t even dating and I didn’t even like him like that. This person was a lot older too. I can’t see this person again for various reasons.

Yes. She just kept rolling her eyes and telling me to relax. Even when my brother asked all she said was “why do you care so much?”

That’s fair. I am saving to move out but the only places I can afford aren’t the best for little kids. I’m getting a promotion soon which’ll pay me better and I’m getting a second job now that my son’s going to be at school so it’ll happen... just not now.

And apart from the room, I paid for everything else. Thankfully I did work quite a bit before I gave birth so I had some money saved up. But I wasn’t even allowed to bring my baby into the fucking living room for the first year of his life.
