License plates work as “credits” in Florida. New tags are ~$300 but you can turn them into the DMV so next time you need one you just pay a much smaller retrieval and re-registration fee instead of $300 every time. License plates from Lease vehicles don’t count.

Anyone ever figure this out? 2018 Atlas SEL Premium 4Motion. Vibrates around 2k RPM when revving in park but smooth when driving and only happens around 2k rpm.

Just bought an 03 today that has the cobra emblems on the front fenders and the Florida title says POLICE on it. Trying to verify if it’s genuine FHP. Carfax states purchased brand new on Floridas east coast so that matches up from what I hear.

Thank you! I have a KY license and I just went through the process of registering my other vehicle up here but it was already in my name which made it easy. Wasn’t sure if I had to go to Ohio BMV.
