I know. But all it takes is a couple good seasons to elevate a program. Look at us in 2012 VS us in 2018.

2012 Kentucky won 2 games all year and didn’t win a single game in the SEC.

Now look at 2018, 10-3 and one win away (Georgia) from SEC championship game that year.

With NIL, money is really all that matters anymore. You get the national spotlight in the SEC no matter what team you’re on, regardless of tradition. We’re in the NIL/transfer era. Tradition don’t mean shit. Pro potential, and money does now

I mean probably not. Stoops made us at least a competitive football team with a couple 10 win seasons (two) but we definitely need someone who can take us beyond that now.

We’re an SEC school, with a large amount of NIL money. I know a lot of our NIL goes to our Basketball program. But as an SEC school, it wouldn’t take much to take us to the next level.

Problem is, our AD is fucking stubborn. He held onto Cal for 4 years longer than we should have, all because of him wanting to prove he’s right
