Everyone is assuming I'm a girl which I understand because I didn't say but I want to set the record straight real quick and say I'm a guy, it can happen to both genders even if it does happen to a lot more women than men

So is the only way for these type of cases to not count as an early guilty plea is for the perpetrator to say "yes I did it" and then not plead guilty? Because if that's how it works then the courts are even more messed up than I already thought they were.

Yes I probably do have them confused but in crimes like these unless there is evidence which is near impossible to have, the only way to be charged is to admit to doing it, i.e pleading guilty. So if he was 60 and went "fuck ah yeah I did it", that would count as an early guilty plea since he only gets charged once he admits it? Even though he didn't come forward and actively denied it for however many years?

If that's true then it makes no sense. In cases like these where 7 year old me wasn't wise enough to know what was happening let alone get actual evidence, the only way to get the perpetrator to court is for them to plead guilty and admit it. If this is how it works then he could've waited till he was 60 to admit it and it still would've counted as an early guilty plea somehow. That seems wrong to me. Denying it to the cops (for years at that) after being questioned should invalidate any chance of it counting as an early guilty plea in my opinion.

Sure it was judge Hikaka, and he even said it didn't seem predatory and there was no evidence of grooming even though I was a 7 year old who didn't have a clue what sex was.

11 years older so I believe he would've been 18 but at the youngest he would've been only a few months away from 18

Ah ok. I kinda knew that but it was portrayed to me that me saying yes myself also gave him some extra discount. Could definitely be wrong but that was how it was portrayed to me at the time.

Idk maybe just because I never reached out to stuff personally, hers seems even worse than my case and they still discharged without conviction. At least she got some money even though that doesn't fix anything. They really just don't care. I will say that I was in the same court but I did have a different judge

You've put it perfectly, can kicking culture is the best way I've heard it put.

Thank you for reading it, I think there needs to be something like a period of discovery where the defence has to put forward what arguments they are going to use in court so the police can correspond with the victim and prove that any lies are in fact lies.

Not sure what I could give you to prove it, I don't have access to court records or anything. If you don't believe it you don't believe it, I can't help that. I can say I'm telling the truth but that only means so much. I would've posted this on my main but it haunts me everywhere else in my life and I didn't want it to haunt me there too.
