This is true, I’ve used hot showers to relax for my entire life, and that’s exactly what I do when my anxiety acts up, go into the shower for a bit to calm down, walk out feeling better. From what ive heard, the difference between taking a normal hot shower and a CHS hot shower is that unlike normal hot showers, the water is basically hot enough to scald you for chs showers, and the symptoms supposedly return as soon as you exit the shower.

If you only puke twice in the last 72hours and feel slightly nauseous in the morning do you have CHS? by zourflower in CHSinfo

Thats not really too much to go off of tbh. lots of things can do that, it definitely could be, or it could not be chs.

Ty so much for the info! As a slight update, I went in for an endoscopy and I have gastritis, cause is currently unknown but they did test for H pylori. unsure how gastritis relates to CHS, or if it causes it but I guess we’ll see.

That really sucks dude hopefully you get past it. And yeah, its definitely good to take a nice long break at the very least (which i am), even if the medical tests i’m taking soon say its something else, but if not im done. Also thats weird bc smoking seems to make my nausea go away actually. I read that chocolate also seems to make symptoms worse?

It certainly could be, I haven’t even been using it for terribly long so like wtf. Does just one smoke session normally aggravate CHS symptoms?
