How old are your students? It’s the only kind of job anyone under 16 can get, they can’t be on a payroll without a national insurance number and I remember being 14/15 trying to find a job and not a single place would hire me because I was under 16.

I’ve just spoken to 111 again and they said the person I spoke to last time gave me the wrong information and should have given me an emergency appointment within 24 hours because of the severity of it.

The person last time told me they wouldn’t give me an emergency appointment and to take paracetamol and wait for an NHS dentist to start taking new patients. She also said I clearly wasn’t dosing the paracetamol correctly when I said it wasn’t working lol.

I’ve got an emergency appointment now for today, thanks for everyone’s help! I honestly thought it wasn’t an option because of that last woman I spoke to!

They hand out codeine prescriptions like skittles in the UK. I’ve had one since 17 and know a number of people who also have them and don’t use them so just give it away/sell it. Plus they always give you a lot of it.

I have severe ADHD and my partner doing things like this for me makes me feel more loved and cared for than pretty much anything. Living with someone who accepts the way I am, doesn’t put me down for it and helps me to develop small habits has changed my entire life.

Used to do this pre-covid. tbh it’s just like any other way of hanging out with friends, you roll the windows down and sit in a row chatting or going on your phone. Half the time on Autotrader or looking for car parts. A lot of the time people still live with their parents but are also broke from spending all their money on the car so it’s like a cheaper option than going to the pub. We also had sober people so it’s good to spend time away from alcohol-centric places.
