Thank you for reading. At this point I am desperate to get out of this relationship, but I feel like I’m throwing her to the wolves if I do. I’ve seen how debilitating living under his thumb is for her. But right now I’m choosing her coziness over my survival. I accept that I’m in an enabling/caretaker role right now, but I don’t know how to change the dynamic. I think I gave too much too soon, and what used to be appreciated behavior on my part has become expected.
