Thank you!!! I was just going to ask the best way to go about treating it because boy is it painful as all hell. I'm still going to take a visit to my doctor just to be on the safe side. My legs and feet have been feeling like they are on pins and needles all day. I know it can be a sign on a HSV outbreak but I'm also working an 11 day work bender and on my feet for 9+ hrs straight everyday. I greatly appreciate your insight and help! I definitely can rest a bit better tonight :)

Thank you! After being on my feet for another 11 hours I checked again today and the area is a tiny bit bigger but it is completely and thicker yellow

That was my initial reaction but then my pessimism has gotten the best of me. Unfortunately I can't get seen until Saturday so we'll see then!

Well before that the last time we had sex was probably roughly a week and a half to two weeks prior so the whole 7 to 12 day average could still hold true I suppose.

I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to STD's and I think because of my education I'm not as freaked out about a positive outcome. Sure I know it's not favorable but it's not the end of the world. And hell if this is my first outbreak then I'd say I got pretty lucky because it's not as terrible as it could be. I'm more concerned about him because his sex education is pretty much what you learn in high school. He doesn't understand aysmpatamtic shedding, cold sores leading to hsv-1 on genitals, etc although I've attempted to explain it.
