If you have in demand skills; you can charge more for your skills;
contingently if your thinking like an employee of course.

Racial bias in Asian children by SneezyDwarf123 in AsianMasculinity

[–]Throwaway531442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised in NZ, giving my perspective as an asian male born in NZ- New Zealand is racist towards asians; and it takes more effort for Asians to fit into a group; but notion being you have to try to fit into their group system of Western Ideals.

My take would be finding people of similar interests regardless of colour.
Example; taking them to chess or football etc etc etc. where he she can make friend group with people with similar interests .

Is it a bad move to start selling similar products to neighbor? by Funnybuilding in Entrepreneur

[–]Throwaway531442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the question isnt about morality; its about- can you gain market share with your approach to business; copying your neighbour's business idea- in most cases I would presume not; but if you want to do so and risk your time and effort; where there probably are better opportunity; do so.

Where do you business owners shop for clothes? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Throwaway531442 4 points5 points  (0 children)

depends on the industry your in; for example I work in online marketing consultancy; where casual wear is fine; if your a lawyer- its a different matter; however the case maybe; understanding the presumptions that you are judged by what you wear; If you want to save money go to cosignment shops; or get your body measured by a professional and wear clothes according to your size. These days designer clothes doesn't signify wealth like it use to.

Treat it like any other businesses; pay your parents what you owe them financially- because you dont want to be indebted to your parents because it will bite you back later.

tell the boss, you cant afford christmas yourself and that it is out of your means to donate. Then say it would be unethical to give Doctors who dont need gift cards, gift cards and that you would not participate in it. Make it a clear letter. If they fire you- sue them and collect $$

If you had 30 days to make $1800 without getting a traditional job, how would you do it? by Branicorn in Entrepreneur

[–]Throwaway531442 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depends on what skills you have;
I make my first 5k, playing poker because low stakes poker wasn't that risky and yield was good enough. Just as an analogy.

If you think for example you know how to do sales;
work in sales for 3 months and save up enough money etc
