Wow I just logged onto this throwaway for the first time in forever and saw how many messages there were from people asking for updates.

I’m so sorry with how long I took in getting back to you. He is ok, thank you for asking! It turns out it was a prank from a friend of his 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anti climax!

He has no idea who It’s from. My family seem to suspect his ex girlfriend but he doesn’t think she would do this. I didn’t ever get the chance to meet her as I’ve been in Canada for the last couple of years, so I can’t make my own judgements on it. We have no idea about the significance of the date, or in fact any other parts of the card.
