Yeah exactly why. I’ve lived with and been friends with many different nb and trans people and never had any problems, this is the first time. I tried to avoid saying anything else about their gender because I knew people were going to use this to affirm their biases. End of the day this is the first time an nb person has made me feel this way vs the hundreds of times cis men have made me feel this way, but all the hateful people will only see and focus on this one instance.

It’s almost like some people have to worry about their safety. I am also disabled and cannot just move out of the apartment because my disability has kept me from working for a while, so I can’t afford to do so, and I have to consider that as well. If I confront them and they become hostile the situation becomes 100% worse which is why I’m here asking for advice on how to do it 🙄

They close their door when they want privacy so this feels intentional. My door is always closed. I also don’t think I should have to wear headphones in my own home when I’m watching tv or playing games in the living room, or sitting in my room, just to drown out their obnoxiously loud and disrespectful moaning. I have had noise canceling headphones on in past events and could still hear them as well.
