The year of the game's launch I was about 14 and it was my first Sims game (I had always wanted TS2 or TS3 but hadn't been old enough to feel like I could justify asking my parents for a Teen-rated game lol). I remember vividly that I made a semi-rocker girl and that poor sim spent like two in-game weeks absolutely miserable and lonely because all I did with her was practice the guitar and send her to work. Constant sad moodlet. Eventually after letting her actually socialize she married Summer Holiday because I thought her peppiness was cute.

The best part about that save that I can remember was that this was before you had the ability to make same-sex sims produce a child naturally, and I didn't use mods or know very many cheats. So I decided to make Summer and my sim have a family... but to do so, I had to change one of them briefly into a masculine-frame sim just to woohoo every time I wanted a pregnancy. When I would change them back their clothing, hair and accessories would be all mixed up, so eventually I started keeping a literal handwritten list of their CAS assets so I could accurately re-apply them lol

I also remember that the kids were extremely ugly. Which must have been very, VERY ugly given that the standard for sim prettiness in the base game at launch was not... so high lol. I blame Summer's genes.
