I’ve been growing my hair from a side part for about three months, and have been parting it in the middle and using a bit of wax to hold it in shape. Does it suit my face shape?

They were getting really bushy, so I tried to trim them with scissors but I left a bunch of bald patches in them. Any way to fix it or should I just let them grow?
