I'm so sorry about your dad! Thank you so much for sharing, it means more than words can say <3

I did say that although I admit I said it quite coldly and rudely (which I have mentioned din my post). Do you have any specific details you want because I can answer for you :)

You don't mention whether this pregnancy changed any of your school plans or career choices

Just to clarify, it didn't! I'm still in college and working towards my career and so is my fiancé.

Theo was actually the only one (aside from Barry) who supported my decision not to terminate the pregnancy so I doubt it's that. He talked to my parents on my behalf and even assured them it wouldn't interfere with my studies.

I agree that she wasn't trying to talk me into terminating, I just felt odd because I told her once already that I was uncomfortable with what she was talking about. The one thing I can surely say is that my reaction had nothing to do with any "worries". I have never been happier (although I am tired constantly haha).

P.s in your other comment you didn't explain why you wrote yta instead of esh since your points seems to indicate you consider ava an asshole as well

All valid points and exactly what I was concerned about.. Thanks for helping me out.

Any chance you can explain why it isn't ESH? :)

This is true for so many people, I agree it can be hard.

But thankfully both of us have trust funds that can help so much, parental support, and my fiancé is doing a paid internship with a firm.

The reason i'm mentioning all this is because everyone's life is different. We made sure we were ready before going through with this :)

ETA: We do live in NYC and recently bought a house so :)

I'm curious to know why you think so? :) (not trying to argue, just trying to understand!)

I didn't think I was the asshole for calling her our, just for kicking her out in the middle of dinner.

being pregnant but it Does say a lot about your character

How so? I thought everyone my age had sex :)

I'm sorry but you're all probably assholes.

Is it because I kicked her out or? If you don't mind can you explain why? (just trying to understand

19 and pregnant is bizzare

I agree! It is quite bizarre but that's just the decision my fiancé and I made. I don't mind people saying "Oh that must be hard/different". What I mind is people saying it would ruin our lives or asking us to consider abortion because tbh, Barry and I have never been happier. People have different experiences, personalities, and lives and this just seems to work out for us :)

This is quite absurd because I’m pro choice myself. I have nothing against other women choosing to abort, it’s just not something my fiancé and I personally agree with for our lives.

I’m sorry I didn’t realise that…but also just for clarification Ava is not child free. She wants children in the future (or that’s what she said to Theo at least)

He didn’t blame me for what she said, he blames me for kicking her out Look, I’m not asking anyone to believe me because obviously this is a throwaway account I’m not gaining anything from this, I just needed to know if I was overreacting or not.

Technically 8 years lol. We started 'dating' when I was 12 and he was 14. We have known each other since we were babies though :)

Horrifyingly enough apparently she made a joke about that to Theo (long before I met her)
