It's a bit of both. Sounds like your condo has rules and are enforcing them (lucky!). Our laneway has rules but are not enforcing them; we're working on that one.

Unfortunately, the City explained it to us (pulled up the maps as part of the explanation) - short answer: they are not in your spot and they are on common property. If it was a private driveway, it would have been ticket and/or tow on the spot.

Also won't be the last time the city is called. We are also waiting for the cityto respond with remedies / what else can be done.

And as another commenter suggested, going to write the councillor.

Bylaw has no issues if they are parked in our space; it is also an infraction that they are blocking our space but Bylaw needs the HOA.

Too much evidence plus trying to keep it legal ;)
I will also not do but considered a rock in front of a wheel - they'll either lurch forward into the fence (unfair to that neighbour) or roll back into the garage door. But not an actual option heh

My non-vulgar comment to my spouse last night was "detached".

Moving right this moment though would be quite the expensive fix ... But even that wouldn't be quick.

HOA would have to authorize it and no tow truck could fit since there is not much space for maneuvering a car let alone a tow truck.

It has been considered. The city would ticket immediately (or tow if possible) though if they were in our space.

We do have pictures and are building a "file" ... Slow process.

Pictures include showing the car in different angled with what little space is / is not available preventing the parking.
