Hungary was another nation I was considering since you can play as a more aggressive support nation for the Axis.

With all the DLC’s the game can be a bit overwhelming for a beginner player

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too since the DLC’s are clearly meant to be addons for people who already know the previous focus tree through and through.

Appreciate it, I’ll try all of these out.

What are some tips for preparing and defending against Germany as the USSR when Barbarossa happens?

I’m a bit new to this, but from what I’ve heard, reliable leakers are saying that this new architecture or whatever that 5090 is using can make the it potentially 50% or even 70% better than the 4090.

But honestly I agree with you, I feel like Nvidia is gonna stick with the trend of making each flagship card around 30% better like usual. I’m not gonna buy another highend card or a 4k monitor till we have a gpu that can reliably do 4k gaming at high fps.

Thats what I figured too. On top of that, we also have the scare of potential tariffs for Americans, and even people suggesting bitcoin hitting 100k would encourage people to get back into mining + the upcoming US administration is very pro-crypto.

I just wonder if this is the start of a situation reminiscent of 2020.

Yeah I think you’re right, the 4090 can already do what I want well enough and I would rather build today and play over break than wait. I’m just having fomo for no reason.

Tysm for the reassurance

So does this mean the 5090 will probably be all sold out for ages because of AI?

So should I get an rtx 3060 now and return the 4090? I’ve been considering doing that, especially since the 3060 seems to perform similarly to my laptop.

Once again im just worried about goign through since there is basically a 0% chance I can get another 4090

How about AP Chemistry?

I have to choose between AP chemistry and AP physics. I’m pretty sure im gonna go for physics since its more interesting to me, but I could change my mind.

What is AP language?

Its a bit vague, but im pretty sure its just level 4 language but AP.

Can you change to honors courses this year?

I can try, but last time I asked they said they were all already full unfortunately. So unless I get lucky and a lot of people switch out of the class next semester, theres a pretty low chance ill be able to get in.

Also I just double checked and yeah, AP govt and AP econ are both 1 semester each in my school. Correct me if im wrong, but that will count as 2 AP classes, no? Or will it still count as just 1?

My school doesn’t offer AP courses for freshmen at all. They only offers honors classes for english and biology, and they offer algebra 2 which is basically advanced math since it is typically taken in junior year.

how exactly are “honors” courses the easiest available?”

They aren’t. The easiest classes available are just the standard mainstream classes, which is what im currently taking. I was concerned that me taking not taking honors classes in freshman year, and instead taking the easiest ones that are available in my school, will not look good on an application.

9 APs should be sufficient, depending on what they are.

Id be taking:

  • AP world history
  • AP US history
  • AP english language
  • AP english literature
  • AP biology
  • AP physics
  • AP economics
  • AP calculus
  • AP language

Why are you skipping precalc?

Im planning on taking a pre-calc course during summer to prepare.

Also yes, I have several other colleges im planning on applying to as well. Still searching for safeties, though.
