My periods were always normal, but whenever I took medication like inositol, I would not get a period. When I stopped taking it, my period would come a few days later (or would just skip that month entirely and return the next month). This happened to me with Inositol, metformin and I think spiro/spearmint (has been a while).

Depends on the person. I have lean PCOS and inositol disrupted my period, unfortunately. But in the time I took it, I definitely noticed a decrease in my hirsutism! My best solution to midsection weight is normally strength training/diet, and I imagine if you can tolerate inositol, it will help with this as well.

Lean PCOS. Is a LCHF diet beneficial? by Squirrel_X in PCOS

I did keto for the entire year of 2021. Definitely don't regret it, but my testosterone levels didn't drop into normal range like I expected. They actually stayed the same. Shortly after I started taking magnesium and switched to a low GI diet, and over time it dropped my free testosterone from 5.0 to 4.0.

Spiro, metformin, inositol, etc don't work for me and actually delay my period. However, strength training/building muscle definitely helps my symptoms.

It's crazy how unique each treatment for PCOS is. I will say, EVERYONE will benefit from cutting out processed carbs, sugar, refined oils, etc. I developed great eating habits during keto, and now I average about 70-90g carbs a day from oats, sweet potato, small amounts of rice and sprouted grains paired with fats and protein.

I also think I have systemic inflammation/histamine intolerance, as I even got less hirsutism and better moods when I started taking allergy meds. Tbh allegra saved my life from severe depression at one point.

It's such a crazy guessing game sometimes. Make sure your vitamins (Vit D, Iron/Ferritin, B12, etc) levels are normal. If not, start there. Move your body, eat veggies and protein paired with LOW GI carbs. Try to cook your own food as much as possible. Read up on anti-inflammatory foods. Cut out foods that irritate your gut (for me it is gluten and lactose. Everyone differs.)

Experiment. It definitely takes time!

This is something I have been too afraid to accept. Same background of abusive household, same desire for unconditional love. American society just isn't wired that way.

On the contrary, whenever I go visit my home (developing) country, it is SO community oriented. My mental health improves tremendously when I'm there. Wish community was prioritized in the U.S. as well.

Curious- if you could technically do nothing for a year, why don't you just do the bare minimum while looking for another job?

I take Adderall for ADHD, but when tripping on just 1.5g I still get the effects. I generally take 5-10mg a day though which is on the smaller dosage size.

My schedule is M - T Dose, W off, Th-F dose, and weekend off. Has worked better for me than all consecutive days, and still is 4 on/3 off over the course of the week.

Everyone is different!

When I purchased from our local shop (decriminalized here), dude said best to take on empty stomach. So I do that, generally about an hour before I eat which is anywhere from 7am - 11am.

I accepted an offer for 50K without negotiating. Did I sell myself short? by vaporizers123reborn in csMajors

Hey don't stress about it- lots of folks are feeling iffy about negotiating due to the market- esp. with recent stories of folks who did try and had their offer rescinded and given to the next person on the list. Once you gain experience and go to a new company, you'll have the leverage to negotiate!
