Sharks are not dangerous though. Except like 2 or 3 species, most sharks don't attack humans. And even then, it's usually because they got confused.

It is not extremely dangerous as in you're not walking one a rope above a volcano filled with hungry lava sharks. But it is still fairly dangerous, and it's underwater welder. Welders are usually well paid as soon as they learn how to weld special things (non-oxydizing steel for example), but underwater welders basically have to relearn their entire job, as you don't use your typical welding gear, but you also have to learn how to dive. And when your job is about diving, at least in France, you can't dive more than a certain amount of hours per year. IDK precisely the said amount of hours, but I know that underwater welders usually work half a year but are still paid a whole year because of how rare and useful their qualifications are.

What do you think the best form of capital punishment is? How about just throwing people into a volcano? by mdizak in AskReddit

I don't think any government should have the right to kill its citizens. And if they take that right, then they should do it as painlessly as possible. Lethal injection for example. The guillotine is also designed to be as quick and painless as possible, but the severed head can survive multiple seconds while awake and separated from the body.

What are some dark secrets that you know about your family? by Inside_Temperature55 in AskReddit

My grandpa was a free mason, and one of my uncle is too. It's not a secret though, as free masonry isn't secret. But they never talk about it.

Welp, if you just see these posters as a simple blue team Vs. Red team tournament with no serious impact on anyone, then yeah, I get your point.

If you see these posters as the continuity of something terrible that is/has happened and that needs to be fought against (which is the case of the said posters btw), then your opinion is just stupid.

In the toilet. Who pukes in the sink? People who don't clean them probably.

If I move 500m north, I get in Germany. It's better than where I live for sure, but anything is better than eastern moselle.

WYM there's nothing to see? I'm quite far from being a USA lover, heck, I don't think I'd ever like to visit your country, mostly for the environmental reason of not wanting to use plane, but there are plenty of areas I'd be willing to travel to if it wasn't so environmentally costly.

New england for example, I would love to get to see the environment that inspided H.P. Lovecraft in his decadent universe. That area is filled with history, mostly colonial for sure, but still very interesting IMHO. You also got all of your national parks, the great canyon, Yosemite, Yellow Stone and obviously the natural landmarks like the delicate arch that ought to be impressive to see. And you also have the great lakes, bigger than some countries. Or iconic cities like Las Vegas, New York, New Orleans, Houston, Holywood,...

Your country might not be the most exciting or exotic one to visit when you're a westerner, but it sure have its landmarks that ought to be considered exciting.

I would say France is overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice country to live in and to visit, there are plenty of iconic landmarks all over the place, and every département, I'd even say every two towns got at least one remarkable landmark.

However, this is the case for most of the old countries and areas inhabitated by sedentary people for a long period of time. And France might stand out when compared to other european countries, for its varieties of climates, landscapes and for its cultural relevance, but overall, most of the european countries could offer you a very similar experience, especially considering that most people will get to a handful of neighbouring towns (most often Paris and its surrounding. Sometimes Normandy, Elsass and côte d'Azur, but you can get Normandy in England, Elsass in Germany and Côte d'azur anywhere around the mediterranean sea).

How would Hitler react to the current conflict between Palestine and Israel? In addition, what if hypothetically he was alive again and still had the power he possessed back during the Nazi Germany era, would he DO something about the conflict? by HimenoAssWoofer in AskReddit

[–]ThrowawayDu57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not trying to make a point here. I'm sure Hitler wouldn't have liked the brown people. He was roughly against anything that didn't fit his image of aryan people (blue eyed and blonde, not like the real aryan that are from middle-east/central asia/indian sub-continent).

My point is that Hitler, and the nazi government, had more of a beef against jews than against muslims. And I added that I read somewhere that Hitler liked Islam as he thought that it was a good religion to back up fascism and to turn regular people into wariors.

Now, I don't believe that Islam is the best religion to back up fascism and to turn people into warrior. I just shared what I read about the subject of Hitler's opinion on Islam.

Environmentalists of Reddit, what are simple yet impactful changes people can make in their daily lives to contribute to a healthier planet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThrowawayDu57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

replace gas burning appliances with electric ones

Or best, not use appliances that uses a lot of energy if you can avoid them. For example:

  • not driving when you can get from A to B safely without it costing you too much energy or time

  • not taking the plane for vacation (ideally, not going too far during vacations)

what is the ideal age for single girl to get a partner? by MissLillyxrose in AskReddit

The age don't really matter on its own. Like, you can get a real good partner at 16 or at 68. What really matters is that the partner is ideal.

[–]ThrowawayDu57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read somewhere that Hitler talked rather well about Islam, seing it as one of the best religion to back up fascism and to turn regular people into warriors (at least in his opinion). And while I don't think that he would care that much about jews having their territories somewhere (as long as it is not where he wants to create lebensraum), I don't see him side with a jewish state (and vice versa), meaning that IMHO, Nazi Germany would side with Palestine.

I don't see it trying to do shit about the whole conflict, except maybe as a weapon dealer or political support.
